Keeping this in mind, “Elizabeth College of Education” was started in the year 2007, at the base of beautiful Green Hills in the rural village Annamangalam. It is affiliated with Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University, Chennai. It is a Private- unaided institution and functioning as a day college.

It is a Co-education College offering courses in the subjects Tamil, English, Mathematics, Physical Science, Biological Science, Geography, Computer Science and History. It has well qualified staff members and good infrastructure.
