Thirumathi Elizabeth Polytechnic College was started in the year 1986 by Thirumathi Elizabeth Educational Society in the village Annamangalam which is surrounded by the beautiful Green Hills. It was established to develop the poor and rural people, for whom, technical education was a fruit at height.
This College is offering Diploma in Engineering courses in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Engineering and Mechanical(Tool & Die) Engineering.
The vision of this institution is to improve social, economical conditions and welfare of the people by providing standard courses with experienced Lecturers and fulfill the needs of the society. The main objective is to provide diploma engineers with required knowledge, skill and attitude to perform well in the industry.
The students of this college are made to involve themselves in social activities like National Service Scheme, Red Ribbon Club, Citizen Consumer Club etc., Career guidance programmes and Campus interviews are being organized in this college every year by Training and Placement Cell of this institution. Government and Meritorious Scholarships are also arranged to economically weak students.
